Organizations & Teams
Every Stackpad account belongs to at least one organization. Organizations are how you manage teams, projects, and billing.
Creating an organization
When you sign up, you’re prompted to create your first organization. You can create additional organizations later from the dashboard.
Each organization has:
- A name displayed in the dashboard
- A slug used in URLs (e.g.
your-org.stackpad.eu) - A billing plan (Starter, Pro, or Business)
Team roles
Organizations support three roles:
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access. Manage billing, delete organization, manage all members. |
| Admin | Create and manage projects and services. Invite and remove members. |
| Member | View projects and services. Deploy and manage services assigned to them. |
Inviting team members
- Go to Organization Settings → Members
- Click Invite Member
- Enter the email address and select a role
- The invitee receives an email with a link to join
Pending invitations are shown in the members list and can be revoked before they’re accepted.
Member limits by plan
| Plan | Team members |
|---|---|
| Starter | 1 (owner only) |
| Pro | Up to 10 |
| Business | Unlimited |
Switching organizations
If you belong to multiple organizations, you can switch between them from the sidebar. Each organization has its own projects, billing, and member list.
Deleting an organization
Only the owner can delete an organization. Deleting an organization:
- Stops and removes all services and containers
- Deletes all project data, environment variables, and backups
- Cancels the billing subscription
- Removes all member associations
This action is permanent and GDPR-compliant — all data is fully removed from Stackpad’s infrastructure.
